On a wheelbarrow attached to a bicycle, a man buys and sells Robabekya (junk) by shouting “Bekya!” throughout the streets, resulting in an iconic sound of Cairo, hence the name of the publication.

All imagery used in the publication is authentically sourced from Egyptian homes. Through visual research, clutter was divided into 8 categories: cardboard boxes, broken machines, old tech, vintage clutter, paper and books, sentimental clutter, expired medicine, and empty pens.
